How much is this camera worth?

Approximatley how much would it cost for me to get the lens shutters fixed on my Camera? Is is worth it?

  • I have a fairly new camera that my mother dropped a year ago. It's such a pretty Casio. The model is a EX-Z1050. She basically dropped it and the little area where the camera opens and close(shutters) and portion of the camera that maneuvers in and out when the camera is turned on...it is damaged. It will not close or move. I would hate to see a good camera thrashed...what can I do with it if repairments are not worth the money????

  • Answer:

What you are calling a "shutter" is actually an automatic "lens cap". It seems to have done its job, but now needs repair by a competent camera repair shop

I'd suggest you get a couple of estimates. But I believe it'd be more than buying a new camera.

Nah, IF anyone would bother to fix it that would cost way more than the camera. Find another used on on Amazon or better yet a whole new camera.
