Good revision techniques for you?

Answer:
The best form of revision is something that needs to be worked out by the person in question, as the amount of time and effort that you put in will be linked to your ability and how well you will do in the exam. Here are some tips: - Make a revision timetable, allow extra time for topics that you struggle on the most. - Do all revision in manageable 'chunks'. Researches say that 20 - 30 minutes is ideal, and maybe do about 2 - 3 hours on a school night and longer at the weekend. - Check out revision sites. BBC Bitesize and SAM learning are good, along with Get Revising. - Create posters etc, do your revision creatively. You are likely to remember this way! - Revise with friends - maybe get them to do a topic you're unsure of and for you to do a topic they're unsure of. - MOST IMPORTANTLY do some past exam papers. You may know the science but not be very good at exam technique. A lot of questions are of similar context, year after year, just phrased differently. Don't panic! This is the worst thing that you could do - just revise the key areas that you struggle with. Reward yourself and schedule free time! Hope this helped, Good luck! :)

an easy way for me is to watch youtube videos on the subject (especially for maths) and then practise it on some questions. We were also taught a good technique at school to boost efficiency when revising, you simply do 15 minutes working and learning and then have 5-15 minute break and just repeat this over and over.
