How to start a business/nonprofit and what are the details to go along with it?

  • I have started a "business" where I sell a product and then we donate that product to a local hospital. It is like Tom Shoes. You buy one and then you give one. Does this make the business just a business with a twist, nonprofit or a charity? What do I need to do to keep it legal? The "business" is just me and I make an items.
