Which University or city of france should I do my master?

Why does the media nowadays (especially in the UK) always try to put down university?

• The majority of high-skilled professional jobs nowadays demand at least a Bachelor's Degree as a prerequisite; you cannot become a doctor without a degree, nor a psychiatrist, judge, civil engineer, I could go on! Plus, I am in my final year of a Master's Degree of Mathematics at the age of 21. My modules that I have selected are mostly financial or statistical based, as I am pursuing a career in accountancy, financial management, or even as a data analyst, which could eventually lead to exceptional positions, such as company chief executive with hard work (and a bit of luck)! I am also studying accounting with the AAT on a Level 3 Accounts Technician level to make my CV stand out. Also, I am working part-time in a pub as a maintenance coordinator/glass collector, meaning that I have responsibility of the running of the floor, the sanitation of the establishment, and of the functioning of the cellar during my shifts. I have also had experience in an office as an accounts assistant, worked as a University of Liverpool ambassador, which involved selling the university (and also my city) to visitors on open days and other events, and worked as a teaching assistant in a rough, inner-city school, so I also have plenty of life experience as well as academic experience for somebody of my age. However, I feel that without attending university, I would never have had the opportunities that I have had the privilege to make the most of, and I have saved up my student grants and bursaries to maintain some financial stability for my girlfriend and myself. I also have interviews lined up for accounting positions and one as a data analyst for petroleum firms, so wish me luck! :-D SO, WHY DOES THE MEDIA TRY TO PUT DOWN UNIVERSITY?????

  Simple, years ago there was a much smaller university attendance, people who went into the workplace were literate, numerate and useful! Today, half that is churned out of such institutions are not worth the paper their 'degrees' are printed on!
