Do I get extra charge if I cancel an order from amazon.com?

If I hang up on a phone order after giving my credit card number, will it still charge me?

  • I just saw a commercial for "Trendy Top", thought it was cool, & called to order, but instead of just processing my order, it gave me advertisement after advertisement for another 15 minutes until I finally just hung up saying stuff like "You can get this great deal for only $9.99 more! How many can we get for you?" NONE!!!! So it never said it charged my credit card, but it did tell me that even though I didn't want to sign up for this deal that would give me discounts to restaurants & stuff, it would sign me up for free for the first month & it'll be up to me to cancel after that. I want to know if I hung up after about 15 mins of this sh*t, is it still going to charge my credit card? Am I going to be signed up to receive this thing, then pay for it till I cancel it?

    I hate scam companies like this. Save yourself a lot of hassle. Call your bank NOW and tell them what happened and that you want your current card number replaced with a new number. They will cancel that number and mail you a new card with a different number.
