What are the courses required to get associates in automotive collision repair?

Should I get my claims adjuster license?

• I am a college graduate. I only have an associates degree, but in my field it isn't as sufficient as hands-on work experience. My field is collision repair/refinishing. While attending school I helped in a body shop doing everything. When I graduated it took me about 7 months to find a job. When I found that job I had a bad experience with a shop manager. A few months later I got hooked up with a decent job doing body work on military vehicles out of state. I worked there a while and was ready to get back. Now I am back having trouble finding a job. I have always been a better behind the desk kind of guy. I can take the class and get my Texas Claims Adjuster license for a few hundred dollars. Since I have body repair experience as well as estimating experience, I believe it would aid me in claims adjusting. It is still fairly related to my degree which is what I want. What do you think??   I think you should! Anything you can add to your resume always looks better than it not being there at all. I also have a course recommendation for you. AdjusterPreLicense.com has a great course and its only $199.95. I personally took the course and thought it had a ton a useful information, and I'm not in the claims adjusting field either, but it helped me to understand more about insurance policies.
