How To Activate Fm 2012 Without Steam?

Call of Duty 4 on Steam?

  • I bought Call of Duty 4: GoTY Edition for PC a while back and I have been playing it without Steam for quite a while. Now that I have bought Football Manager 2012 (which you need to activate via Steam) I have been using the service a lot more. I noticed that Call of Duty 4 is a 'Steam Game' and I want to "import" my CD version into Steam. Is this possible and how can I do it? I have tried "Activate a Product on Steam..." and used the CD key on the manual but that did not work. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Has your COD been fully installed onto your computer. If so then on steam, on the very top bar in the right hand corner there should be a 'Games'. Click that and go to the bottom one saying 'Add a non-steam game to my libary'. A big list should come up. Find COD, tick the box on the left then click 'Add selected programs'. It should then appear on your libary. Hope this helps.
