How to connect my computer to my TV?

  • Hi! I have a desktop computer that is about 20ft away from our TV (not HD) and I would like to connect them. The only available ports on my computer are USB. The TV has component and s-video inputs. Is there a way to connect them so I can view my computer screen on my TV without spending an outrageous amount of money? I am willing to buy multiple adapters in order to go from USB to something1 then from something1 to something2 and then from something2 to one of the inputs available on my TV as long as it doesn't go above $70 or so... I already have sound covered so unless something you come up with already has sound you don't need to worry about that. If you have any other questions about my configuration or such I will be happy to answer. Thanks!!!

    There is not easy way to transfer the picture from a computer to a non HD TV, the only ways to do it require money to be dumped into buying converter boxes. After all said and done you most likely end up spending 100 plus dollars. And this MaX guy knows nothing, that cable is just for viewing photos and videos from camcorders and cameras, says it right in the description!
