Why Is My Package Stuck in Customs?

My package has been stuck in customs for a week now. What can I do?

  • I bought a package of clothing that weighs about 3.5 kg. It's not brand clothing and it's not several of the same item that would make customs believe I am reselling so I'm not sure what's the hold up. It's stuck in Los Angeles customs. I called customs and all they told me was that the USPS tracker is not reliable and since my item value is less than $200 they would not keep it in customs that long. This was days ago though. I really need this by this Friday, what are my options):?
