The mandate is basically not going to affect anybody because if you look at the structure of the plan it's impossible to NOT be covered. It basically lets those people who refuse to participate in the system pay money into the system so every body else's rates don't go up.

Well it depends on your income which is my main argument against it. First.....we have to pay for it, then in a couple of years we can start using it. Mostly it has to do with whether or not you make more or less than $89,000 a year. (I think that was the number?) Anyway, it's a graduated pay system where the more you make the more you pay. When you break your arm does it cost less to fix if you only make $20,000 a year? Many employees who will need to seek another source of coverage will take advantage of the health insurance subsidies for families making as much as $89,000 a year included in the health care law.
