What is the critical difference between truth and fact in photography?

I don't have your book so I can't take 5 examples, but in general, it's the whole issue in photography.. I go out to the zoo with my family and take pictures. But I never experienced the zoo, I was busy taking pictures, as my son wi ll tell me in 15 more years, Little bastard. I never recorded an event, the event never happened for me anyhow. Why don't we soot funreals and drunk dads? Like in the movie 1 hour photo, people finding our photos will think we lead heppy lives. Not the truth for anyone. There is always bad things. Not people standing happy in yards. I don't think there is a full truth in photography. It's all what we chose to photograph.

Truth is often subjective while facts remain the same across the board. Consider this example: You and I stand toe to toe facing each other. You are also facing South, and I am also facing North. You say, "The sun rises on the left and sets on the right." This is the truth. I say, "The sun rises on the right and sets on the left." This is also the truth. How can two opposing statements both be true? It's a matter of perception. Now here's the facts. The sun rises in the East and sets in the West no matter which way you face. Or if you want to get technical about it, the sun is not rising and setting at all; it is the Earth that is turning. The bible was written from certain people's perceptions. It may contain statements that were true to them, but were also not factual. The important thing to remember is that just because some of it is false, does not mean the whole thing is. And vice versa, just because some of it contains facts does not mean everything else is a fact. A lot of it is just a collection of fairy tales and fables.
