Question about nursing career?

Question about an army nursing career?

  • Hi... I am a female in my mid thirties and am in the middle of obtaining an associates degree (will get bachelors later) as an RN. Since I am in my mid thirties and will be another two years before I complete my education, I don't qualify to enlist in the military, i.e. army nurse. Are there programs within the armed forces that allow people like me, too old to enlist, to still deploy and work in the combat zones as a nurse with a medical team? Or do you have to be enlisted to do so? I also posted this in the military section as well. Just covering all my bases. Any advice or information anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
