How to make a funny and entertaining presentation?

  • I am struggling! This, I guess you could say, is my first official presentation. It's for Art, and I have to do a five minute presentation on Andy Warhol. I just really want this to make people laugh and for it to be entertaining and not boring. I am just not super creative when it comes to presentations! I am told I am funny, but i don't know how to apply it to my presentation. It's only five minutes but still. I just need some creative ideas that aren't really done often. If possible, I kind of want to stay away from Powerpoint, I think it's a tad too over used. Thanks for the help, it honestly means the world to me! If only I could be doing a presentation on Charlie Chaplin....*sad face*

    make jokes be self deprecating? rap your presentation make it rhyme? play a song, change the words to your presentation

Make gentle fun of Warhol's art. Walk in, and put a Campbell's soup can in front of you and say "This is art!.. (pause for a minute for audience response) At least to was to Andy Warhol. Yes, he thought soup cans were art. Weird, isn't it? He also enjoyed painting other consumer products like...Yeah, I know, it isn't exactly pretty flowers or sunsets, but hey.." In other words, make it entertaining and light, not serious and boring.

Make the presentation serious but make jokes as you're presenting, because if you try to make the PowerPoint or whatever funny, people will think you're a kid who works on a little kid's show.
