PSP problems help?

PSP problems: Please help!?

ok, so for Christmas i got a used PSP. up until this week (note: around the time when i got a new game, used of coarse.) it has started to freeze up, refuse to read the disk for a bit (then started spontaneously working.), and even turning it's self off. i've tried pushing the disk reader back in place, but it doesn't help with anything but disk reading. i'm seriously starting to get freaked out (pathetic, i know...) but if someone could just direct me in the right direction, that would be awesome. So: . . . . . will i have to get a new PSP? or is it just the game? or is it something that can be fixed????
