Whats the best class d mono amp to power 4 subs?

  • hi i have 4 x 12" sony single voice coil subs 300 rms each at 4 ohms,each one in 120L sealed box ,what would be the best class d mono block amp to power them. I am currently using a boss cx2500d that i got from ebay it clams to have 750 rms into 4 ohms ,1200 rms into 2 ohms and 1400 rms into 1 ohm stable being a cheap amp that i got from ebay not sure how right those numbers are ,the amp goes pretty hard although it seams to have trouble getting the deep bass notes out. I am willing to spend the money on a knowin brand amp like fusion ,kicker etc if they can power the subs better then what i have any opinions would be great thanks

    That boss amp is a $130 amp with a pair of 25A fuses. It's not going to give you more than about 500w rms. Ideally you're looking for something around 1200w rms at 1 ohm. How do you have it wired? to 1 ohm or 4, or something different? Also, missing the low notes, could be a wrong size enclosure, or im proper crossover settings..
