How To Get Deus Ex?

Did anyone ever get the 4100 fx processor to work for Deus Ex :HR?

• i have a amd fx 41000 quad core processor (which deus ex:HR only uses one of the four cores) 4gb asus m5a78l-mlx+ motherboard and a radeon 6850 graphics card deus ex runs horribly, literally unplayable. i have found no solution to this so far, i have heard that core parking is a potential cause, but other sources say its the architeture of the cpu itself. as it is a "bulldozer" if there is anything you can suggest (other then overclocking [doubt it would work/too much risk for such a small chance]) it would be great, steam is ignoring my request for a refund.

  As far as I know the only fix for the errors with various games and Bulldozers CPUs was a BIOS update for your motherboard, so try updating your BIOS.
