How do mosquito repellents work?

15 mosquito bites on one leg?!?

  • I suffer really badly from itchy mosquito bites, in one night I got 15 on my left leg, I know have 2 more on the right and one on my right thumb, its really getting me down and some of them are big and have massive red patches surrounding them. I'm wondering if its worth me going to my GP as I have tried creams and repellents but nothing seems to work as you can probably tell! Thanks

    To help relieve the redness, ictching, and pain you're experiencing, you could ice the areas. If those repellents and creams aren't working then they might smell something in your blood that attracts them. Mosquitoes and other bugs dont like smoke so maybe a smoke punk would work while your outdoors? They have some especially for mosquitoes. Also try putting Vicks Vapor Rub on the bites. It feels great after.
