Where can I find tap dance in Queens?

Would like to be a Tap teacher. help!?

  • Would like to be a Tap teacher. help!? I Live in the UK and have been Tap dancing since I was 5, And stopped at a GRADE 6. (as I went on to college to do other things) Im 21 very nearly 22 years old and have decided that i would like to go into teaching Tap dance. The only thing is that i do not know how to go about this?? I have tried looking online for any places- colleges/universities, that give you a dance teaching degree in Tap but i cant seem to find any information. I have heard of I.S.T.D but i am also not sure where this qualification can be done? (the website doesn't make sense) I would really love to be a tap teacher/tap assistant i just don't know where to go from here? Your help would be appreciated! Thanks.

    Why don't you start your own studio? That's what my dance teacher/boss did.
