How to start an online math group?

Want to upgrade math in adult education, don't remember anything was in essentials math... Where to start?

  • I was put in essentials math in Highschool in grade 10 and I did not pass grade 9 math... The reason I didn't pass was I did not know the importance of education at the time and I was skipping classes, not to mention the teacher's voice was incredibly boring and he had a thick accent which I couldn't understand while being at the back of the class from a seating plan.. I wouldn't say I was horrible at math, it's just that I was too shy to ever ask questions and I had no friends in that class... I actually used to like math and be good at it.. But after being in essentials math... I forgot everything I've learned in grade 8 and 9 as well as even elementary school... I swear I learned more advanced math in elementary school... Well my math actually got worse... An idea of how pointless that class was... We had to use calculators to solve addition, subtractions, division, multiplication... And when people didn't have calculators in a test they would fail....... Anyways my math level is really bad right now, but I need to upgrade my math because I want to go to a post secondary school (BCIT). I'm good with computers, but I need atleast a c or b with grade 12 math to get into the program I want.. So I'm not quite sure at which level of math I should start with... right now I'm 18 and i'm not in school or have a job (never had a job) and I've nearly taken a year off due to depression and health related problems, but I have resolved those issues with good'ole medication.

If you are going to attend a new school or college then it would be best to first speak some counselors, teachers, and etc. to see which Math class or course that you should take Also you should find out if they have any tutoring resources such as tutors, educational software, videos, and etc. that would help you to learn and understand these subjects You can contact your local, state, or the Federal Department of Education, consumer protection agency, local library and etc. to see if they have any information, resources, advice, and etc. to help you out with this matter and situation They may have information for financial aid, free classes and tutoring and etc. Also you can use a search engine like Google.com to find many free tutorials, forums, videos and other information For example if you use the search engine like Google.com and you type in "Algebra tutorial" or “Algebra note” or "Algebra forum" or "Algebra tutoring" then you will find many tutorials, notes, forums and tutors for learning Algebra Some of these online tutors are free and most online forums are free so you can ask them for any advice and information AAAKnow.com is a good website for learning basic mathematics: http://www.aaaknow.com/equ.htm SparkNotes has good study guides for various subjects, tests and etc. Math http://www.sparknotes.com/math/ Algebra tutorial http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&site=&q=Algebra+++tutorial&oq=Algebra+++tutorial&aq=f&aqi=g8g-m2&aql=&gs_sm=3&gs_upl=3281l6140l0l6359l18l18l0l5l5l0l109l1015l11.2l13l0&gs_l=hp.3..0l8j0i5l2.3281l6140l0l6359l18l18l0l5l5l0l109l1015l11j2l13l0 Math study guide http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&site=&q=Math++study+++guide&oq=Math++study+++guide&aq=f&aqi=g10&aql=&gs_sm=3&gs_upl=1703l4609l0l4719l19l19l0l3l3l0l125l1126l15.1l16l0&gs_l=hp.3..0l10.1703l4609l0l4719l19l19l0l3l3l0l125l1126l15j1l16l0 How solve Math equation http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=How+solve+Math+equation&oq=How+solve+Math+equation&aq=f&aqi=g-v1g-b6g-bq2&aql=&gs_sm=12&gs_upl=21360l21360l0l22672l1l1l0l0l0l0l125l125l0.1l1l0&gs_l=serp.12..0i15j0i8l6j0i8i22l2.21360l21360l0l22672l1l1l0l0l0l0l125l125l0j1l1l0 Free Algebra course http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Free+Algebra+course&oq=Free+Algebra+course&aq=f&aqi=g2g-b5&aql=&gs_sm=12&gs_upl=16797l16797l0l18781l1l1l0l0l0l0l78l78l1l1l0&gs_l=serp.12..0l2j0i8l5.16797l16797l0l18781l1l1l0l0l0l0l78l78l1l1l0 YouTube has videos for learning almost any subject or topic Basic Math, playlist http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Basic+Math%2C+playlist&oq=Basic+Math%2C+playlist&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_l=youtube.12...73516l73516l0l74625l1l1l0l0l0l0l156l156l0j1l1l0.
