Is surgical Technology a good career choice?

• I'm from northern Pennsylvania and I'm starting the Surgical Technology program at McCann school of business and technology in October. My question is, is it a good career choice? some people say its hard to find a job right out of school because you do not have experience? I'm not too sure how true that all is. The career interests me, and I was really not sure what medical career path I wanted to take in the beginning, but this seems like a very interesting one. The whole job aspect of it though, worry's me. I would just like some feedback as to what you feel about this career choice!

  It is as great choice if you love doing it! YES sometimes it can be difficult right out of school due to lack of experiance yet, many hospitals will hire you to do CMS (sterilization) first, then slowly work you into the OR.
