my best friend has always had a problem with pimples, and she cut milk and other dairy out of her diet and there was a definite change in the amount of pimples she had. it took her about a month to start seeing results - and i think she's back on dairy now, but her acne has calmed down since then. you don't need to "replace" dairy with anything. but you can always look into soy milk, lactose-free cheeses, coconut oil, etc. if you miss the taste of milk-products.

You need to work up a sweat. Sweating is natural exfoliate for your skin and will cleanse out your pores. Honestly, no foods break me out but greasy foods and that is only because the grease gets on your hands and face etc. Actual food does not break out your skin. That is a myth. Dirt and grime breaks out your skin because it gets into your pores and infects the area. Working out does WONDERS for the body and skin. I guarantee if you work up a good sweat daily you will see your pimples disappear.

My sister struggled with acne for years and always drank a lot of milk. Last year I told her about the positive link between high milk and dairy consumption and acne and she switched to almond milk. Her face is so much clearer than it has ever been her entire life and she couldn't even believe it, I almost couldn't either. BQ: I've never had an issue with pimples and have only had a couple. I've been very lucky in the skin department, especially going through high school when a lot of people struggled with it. I've always drank a lot of water and that's been rumoured to help with your skin.

Minimize dairy, sugars and grain foods if you want nice, clear skin...and substitute them out with healthy alternatives like eating more vegetables, lower-sugar fruits, raw nuts/seeds, unrefined/natural fats, etc. Be aware though that certain genetic hormonal imbalances in the body can cause acne, even on the healthiest diet (which at best will help reduce the problem a bit).

My acne cleared up after I went vegan, it might have just been hormones since it was worse when I was 12 and first entered puberty. (I went vegan at 13) BQ: I eat a really healthy vegan diet and exercise often and drink water and my face is pretty much clear. I'm 16 years old now.

I'm vegan and I still get sits. I'm not a teenager.
