Has anyone received a following warning from Yahoo!?
-
"Dear User, you have exceeded the storage limit on your mailbox. You will not be able to send or receive new mail until you upgrade your email quota. Click and fill the form below to upgrade your account. http://support.ipage.com/service/service.html". It came as Spam, is it genuine message or is it a fraud? I tried to forward it to fraudwatch international, but it doesn't work. When I click "Send" the following pops-up: "Your message was not sent Suspicious activity was detected on your account. To protect your account and those of our users, your message was not sent. Please follow the guidelines outlined on our help page to resume sending mail. If this error continues, please contact Yahoo! Customer Care for further help. We apologize for the inconvenience. System Administrator" The interesting part is, that I keep receiving messages to Inbox & Spam folders, also I can still send & forward messages as well. I can't only forward this particular message. I've never received message like this from Yahoo! before. Of course I didn't click on the link which came with the message, I don't want to get any bugs on my computer, it also could be one of them phishing messages. I also welcome suggestions as to how to pass this message to Yahoo! for investigation

http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=content&y=PROD_MAIL_ML&locale=en_US&id=SLN3405 If you read this.. all mail from Yahoo will have a purple Y! icon on the inbox page list. This is the newest abuse page https://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index If its not a yahoo.com address then they cant do anything about it. If its not, then it wouldnt be from Yahoo anyway.

Certainly never click on a link as no website would ask you to do that. It sounds like a phishing scam to me. No point in reporting it as there are so many, just trash it where it belongs.
