Suggestions for a cheap good quality headset?

Whats a good headset to talk to my mates with on PC?

  • So im sorta transitioning to PC gaming and me and my friends are getting into some co-op play, but I need a mic to talk with them. I don't know the first thing about mics/headsets for PC so can I have some suggestions. I'm not looking for $400 turtle beaches with ultra mega good quality, infact the xbox360 headset is about the quality I'm looking for so I don't want to pay anymore than about... $50?? hopefully less. Can someone give me some suggestions, I live in Australia, Have access to eBay. THANKS

    I have Turtle Beach PX21s, they were about 60$. They have good sound, a moveable mic, and many features like mute, expand, and chat and game control in a clip-on controller attached to the cord. The cord seems way too long and gets tangled a lot, though. Otherwise great headset!
