Is This An Allergic reaction to Chocolate?

Aspirin allergy or triggered allergic reaction due to Chocolate + Aspirin?

  • I have been through 2 allergic reactions in my life and I am 16. It felt like I was burning alive and my all body was like x2 and such... When this happened first, I ate chocolate like an hour later taking aspirin and the second one, I took aspirin after eating chocolate. Both happened on my period and now I am listing things I am allergic to and I am not sure if I am allergic or it's just triggered because of taking both chocolate and aspirin at the same time. Any ideas?

  • Answer:

When you get a reaction , and you think its from medicines, remember that medications take about 1-2hrs for your metabolism to break down. So let's say you took aspirin, if you really are allergic to it, your reaction won't start till 1-2hrs after you drink it. I'd say its the aspirin. The chocolate would give you major stomach pains, vomiting, diareah , swelling of toungue .
