Women in India really amaze me? are they really all that strong or whats with them?

• So it has been 4 years and I still didn't understand India much. But one thing Im sure of that women in this country are powerful like no other place in the whole wide world. There are everywhere, and not only that they hold the highest positions in the country where in most of euro countries we cant acceot a woman as a leader ( france, uk for instance except for few names of course ) or may be euro. americ, canad/ latinas arent as smart as Indian women. Most of the states chief ministers are women, the president of the country is a woman, the best journalist in the country is a woman, I go to most offices I find women heading it, the majority of schools are headed by a woman, and it seems that indian men have no problem electing a woman if she deserves it. Even half of their gods are females.How come they can reach the peak of the political ladder while other women in other parts of the world ( so called developed world) can't even dream of. I think everything we heard about India as kids turned out to be true. it is really the place to find oneself. Its making more time that intended but I hope I will someday.

As of 2011, the President of India, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha and the Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha (Lower House of the parliament) are all women. However, women in India generally are still exposed to numerous social issues. According to a global study conducted by Thomson Reuters, India is the "fourth most dangerous country" in the world for women.
