How do I warm up my voice before I sing?

How to sing louder when my voice won't come out?

• I don't have the best voice and I'm not trying to go pro or anything but I love to sing. Only thing is I can't sing loudly, can't sing low or high either. It really sucks. Sometimes I try to sing like my fave singers to see if that helps but it's not that my voice breaks or anything...it just doesn't come out. If I go loud my voice goes into a whisper or gets caught in my throat like I'm too scared. It turns into a whisper/muttering and I hate it. I try to sing when I'm completely alone in my house and it still happens even when I feel comfortable. Any advice you can give me? I don't have to see a vocal teacher or anything since I just need to be able to sing out loud without my voice getting stuck on me. I don't want to go silent whenever a certain part in a song comes up that I'm too scared to sing.

  You need to practice, and do a lot of vocal warm ups. what your goal would be would just to at least hit the notes...they don't have to sound perfect, but just hit them. if you want i could coach you... i understand if not cause im a stranger haha! but im 13, if they makes it any less weirder...but i sing, a lot. and i've been told im not half bad. but anyway, just take care of your voice, and work on songs within your vocal range...and gradually work your way up to higher or lower notes.
