Windows Live Messenger problem - please help me?

I have got exactly the same problem. When I log into Windows Live Messenger I get an error message the same as yours. I have two Hotmail accounts and two days ago there was not a problem. But for several hours now I have been trying to log into Messenger, but I cannot. And so I tried to get onto the Hotmail website but I cannot even get onto the site at all. And so I tried my other computers and it is the same problem. I cannot log into Windows Live Messenger or even get onto the Hotmail website. And when I went onto the Microsoft Answers forum there is a message that says it is down for repairs on 28th March 2012 but today is the 27th. And it says we cannot log in. I even went to my friends house and he cannot log into messenger on his account or get onto the Hotmail website either. So it is not just me.So what are we supposed to do? Andrea Borman.

Don't listen to Toby, hes just a junk program spammer. It's a technical issue, you should just bare with them for a couple days and things should be back to normal.

I have experienced a similar thing when I was on Gmail (Google), I was signed out when I was on messenger, I have also been shangaied to another site without warning, some times pop up web brousers will switch you to anothr place away from what you are doing, it is very annoying, getting back to your problem, this icould be caused by the internet connection shutting down, if you run out of Useage, you will get no response to the internet at all until you recharge yor prepaid account, another cause is the signal disconnects from the server, sometimes you come disconnected from the web and there is also a page expiry time situation that makes things go inactive, if that happens Refresh your page, if you can't right click your mouse and down the bottom of the list it will have Refresh, it will restore normal running operation to the site you are on, any other problems the simple solution is to disconect and reconnect you internet service, it can clear these problems, another tip if you are having conflicts or slow running services, set your computer on Restart, when it resumes this will fix minor problems on the internet.
