What kind of music do Paris people like?

  • This summer I'm planning to go to Paris, France. I'm a musician here in Texas and i was wondering what songs or genres do the young folks like.Around the age of 20-26ish. I plan on either visiting a lot of their music scene or if i get the chance maybe do some performing. I know they like jazz and I've been studying some jazz standards but I'm still kind of confused on what to play...Any ideas people? Oh yeah, I play the guitar. or even better, what music do they like even if it is not american. What about some bossa nova?:D merci
