How do you hide your childrens' Easter eggs so that they will have fun finding them?

Let them color the eggs (boiled) and then let them hide the eggs for each other (write down how many eggs are hidden and where they are hidden!!!!). throw in some chocolate eggs that you hid yourself and it will be a fun day! depending on the age of the kids, hiding in high and hard to find places is not advised! dont fully cover an egg, hide it half in sight for little ones and add clues to other hiding spots for older kids!

I used the plastic Easter eggs that open and I put little pieces of candy or tiny toys in each one. The younger the kids the easier the eggs should be to find such as lying in the bed of a flower pot, behind the leg of a chair, poking out of a shoe. The older the kids the harder they can be to find, such as in the pocket of a sweater, behind a lamp, inside a vase. Have fun with it and they will too. One word of advice, if you use the hard boiled eggs make sure you count them before you hide them, make a map of where you hid them, and count them after the hunt to make sure you found them all. I learned this lesson the hard way which is why I switched to plastic. :)

My parents would hide the hard boiled ones in easy to find places because if they weren't found they would start to stink. The plastic ones were a little harder to find. They hid them in bushes, tops of parked car tires, in and around trees, just kinda depends on the age of the children. Hope this helped and have a wonderful Easter!(:
