Webcam feature not available on messenger?

Webcam not connecting at all times with yahoo messenger?

  • Ok guys my problem is this....I have an external webcam that i use with yahoo messenger. At home the webcam connects and everything is fine i can use it others can view me etc. However at my mom's home it doesn't. Whenever i try using the webcam feature it keeps saying connecting and the finally waiting to reconnect. A pop up message says a netwrok error occured while trying to connect to the server. I can however see myself just i cant broadcast. What does that mean and why does it happen only at my mom's?

    looks like somekind network problem, and what kind connection you have, your mom connection might be lower, just check what kind differences between you and moms connection have, ask phone company too, also updating Adobe Flash Player, JawaScript might help too
