How do I get my PC speakers to work on TV...?

  • I just bought a Vizio LCD tv. I dont like the sound on the TV, si I plugged in my PC speakers which has a woofer and great sound. It has once jack that the plug fits into, and the strange thing is, when I turn the TV on, the sound comes out the PC speakers, and very nicely. Then when the picture comes on the sound goes back to the normal TV speakers. How do I get the sound to STAY on the Pc speakers?? Any help is appreciated , thanks.

The only audio output your tv has is through an optical audio output. this is a digital signal that has to be decoded by a multi channel receiver, home theater in a box with an optical audio input or a sound bar. PC speakers does not have enough power to be used on a tv. You might have a tv that has a earphone jack that you connected your pc speakers to. Check you tv owners manual. Hope this will help you out.
