Where can I get the 1.2.4 Minecraft Update?

  • I started up Minecraft in browser very soon after the 1.2.4 Update was released, so it gave me the option to update to the 1.2.4 patch. At the time I wasn't thinking, so I just downloaded it straight away, this was without realising I would not be able to play on my favourite server. So after installing that I then changed back to the 1.2.3 update so that I could play on the server as it wasn't updated at the time. Then 2 days later the server was then updated to 1.2.4 whilst I still had the 1.2.3 update active, however I deleted the 1.2.4 update and it isn't in my recycle bin. I have been looking for it, for a very long time, but just can't seem to find it. When I start up Minecraft in browser it doesn't even get to the menu, it just goes blank straight away. I have tried downloading minecraft.exe and then going to options, Force Update then logging in, but I have never been able to log into Minecraft that way. If someone could post on here a link with either the download or the file I would really appreciate it. Thanks

If it doesn't automatically update when you login then, before logging in, hit "Options" then "Force Update" then Login. That should work.
