Which is better New York or Philly?

Is New York worth it or not? what are the difference between San Diego and new york ? which place is better?

  • I'm from San Diego, CA. I want to move to New York but i hear is ghetto. I want to know which parts of new york are not ghetto and are affordable. I would like also want to know what is the difference between Queens, NY and Brooklyn, NY (which one is better). I love San Diego the weather is the best mostly sunny everydays of the year but i want to move to New York see how it is over their experience it. I dont want to move in a ghetto area, any one that would help me out picking a area to live would be very thankful and nice from you. Since I'm a Latino i would like to know which part of NY are more Latinos located. Or which other State, City is like San Diego to live? Would like to know if its worth it living in new york or should just stay in San Diego.

well if you really want to stick with nice weather all year round, I don't suggest moving to new york. also, if you want to be anywhere even close to the city, you can forget about affordable. however, if you don't care about the city and you want to move farther out, new york in general is pretty nice and affordable. sorry, but I don't know the specific areas:(

New York is 100% better. If you like big cities, cultured enclaves, diversity, vibrant neighborhoods, exquisite gastronomy options, and the awesomeness of a world class city, New York is definitely better. If you like a slower pace of life, suburban hell, close minded, narcissistic, egotistic people, lack of culturally refined minds, sprawl, traffic by car, infernos, and floods, and the feeling of being on no solid ground, than california is your cup of tea.

The south Bronx and Harlem (the north end of Manhattan) are historically the roughest parts of the city. Ask the people in the New York City forum about the most and least expensive areas.

San Diego is 110% better than New York. Trust me, my family and i lived there for like 2 months and we couldn't take it! Its nice to visit but once you get over all the touristy stuff you'll be bored out of your mind. San diego is a much better place than New York 50% Of the time san diego weather is perfect. In New York the weather is all wishy washy one day it'll be like 70 degrees and then BAM its 40 degrees and raining. Trust me dude stay in San Diego Theres much more too do

this depends on what your priorities are. San diego has the great weather, is relaxed, and very clean. Ny city is very expensive, has erratic weather, but of course has unparalled city life. It would be a great experience to live in such a place with so much mixed culture and ethnicities (although san diego does have a distinct spanish culture). Cant tell you which areas are the cheapest, because all areas are fairly expensive if you live close to the city. I would say that it is worth living in new york temporarily to experience it, but if you like the sun, it doesnt get any better than san diego.
