Philadelphia Airport to New Jersey?

  • I'm going from philadelphia airport to new jersey train station (princeton junction). How would I go about doing that via train? I don't want to drive from philly to jersey (car rental's going to cost me about $127 per day if I rent from the airport). I plan on renting a car when I'm in jersey (which is cheaper about $30+ per day). Thanks in advance.

    At the airport, buy a train ticket to Trenton ($9.50). Take the Airport Line train to 30th Street Station. There you want on a Trenton Line train to Trenton. At Trenton you will cross the tracks, buy a NJ Transit ticket ($4.75) to Princeton Junction and hop on the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor Line train. You can get schedules through septa.org and njtransit.com.

shoredude had an excellent answer however I would like to add that if you buy your ticket from a machine at 30th st you can get a combined Septa/ NJTransit ticket.

Philadelphia has the only commercial airport in the area Bader Field (Atlantic City International Airport) is now used for charter flights and private planes not carriers such as Delta. Greyhound has hourly service from the 10th and Filbert Street Terminal from 8;30 am to 10;30 pm, 11;30 pm on Friday and Saturday. The RT is about 20.00. It Takes 1hour and 20 minutes give to take each way.
