Is it rude to ask the manager of my local grocery store to send me a list of all items on sale that week?
-
I find it very frustrating to search online for store matchups for hours only to go to the store, see something I need on sale, then dig around in my coupon binder for the right coupon and calculate it into my weekly grocery budget. It can add hours onto my trip! Is it possible for me to ask my local grocer to email me a list of all items on sale for that week, or would I be asking too much of them. If so, what else can I do about it?

Answer:
grocers usually have circulars printed up with sale items on them...the tedium you put yourself thru is of your own design, and the pennies you save are lost in the time and energy you waste. besides, your local grocer would be rude if he pointed out that everything you see on the shelves IS on sale, everyday.

Store managers are usually salary workers which means they get paid the same if they are at the store 40 hours a week or 80 hours a week. It would be rude to ask them to spend even more time they aren't getting paid for to email you every week.

NO store could do that. They have all that at the store your shoping in. Any Sunday news paper in your town has sale items. Sorry, but all employees have a job and there all over worked as it is.
