I have heard of places online where u can do that - they send people out to buy your ticket for a fee but if it hits for that big a prize - do you feel confident they will be honest? I would just try to get them your self or get a friend relative get one for you! If neither is possible consider trying your local states lottery- the prizes may be smaller but that also means the odds of winning are better!

Do not trust ANY 3rd party websites. There are ZERO legitimate lottery sales in the US except for a couple states, and even then, only through that state's lottery website. I know Illinois now legally sells them on-line, but only for people who are residing in the state.

Illinois offers online purchase through their Lottery website but their new policy does not allow anyone to collect more than $600. IOU's are issued for prizes over $600. and there is no word on when the IOU's will be honored!
