Is it a bad time to travel to Israel, since they may go to war with Iran?

There is no imminent danger of Iran attacking Israel. As crazy as the leadership of Iran is,they realize the risk of massive retaliation . Besides that Israel has demonstrated that it has created one of the most effective protective umbrellas ever developed to defend it's population. Now is one of the best times to visit Israel.It is spring and green thanks to the rain. Life is stable and predictable. Israel is one of the greatest tourist attractions,offering a wide range of experiences in such a compact yet varied geographical region. A good modern transport infrastructure with train ,bus or motor vehicle on good roads is available. People are friendly and speak English.Beaches,night clubs , historical sights and cycle or hiking paths have been updated.Hotels and youth facilities offer a wide rang of accomodation. Yea, the possibility will always be there, but in all honesty Israel is safe right now. I wouldn't worry about it. Don't postpone - trust me, you'll have a great time.

On the contrary. War with Iran was just taken off the table yesterday, when the Obama administration made public Israel's secret war plans, thus rendering them unsafe to execute. At this stage Israel is no longer able to launch a safe and successful attack on Iran. You should come soon, as in 2-3 years Israel might be under a direct nuclear threat and less fun to be in.
