A level choices for engineering/medicine?

    I think first you need to decide which. They are very different indeed. Medicine is a bit different from other courses. Something of a vocation. You need to choose as medicine needs biology chemistry and physics but for engineering maths would be a better choice than biology. But good a-level grades don't guarantee you anything especially Oxbridge etc. they're looking for outstanding people with a clear commitment and experience in their subject area and it doesn't sound like you can have. Anyhow universities offer places based on predicted grades as you won't have your results when you do your ucas form. You need a strong personal statement and other things. So start by choosing which really interests you. Don't choose for financial reasons!
