How to style naturally curly hair? (Without Straighteners/Curlers)?

  • I style my curly hair by using all natural shampoos and conditioners, and then rinsing and using deep conditioners if needed. Then i brush through with a comb suitable for curly hair and run gel through my hair and scrunch and leave to dry overnight. I love my hair but sometimes envy other girls curly hair that is longer and more wavy than curly, rather than my shorter more defined curl.     the two things i would say is never towel dry your hair, just scrunch water out and never comb or brush it out of the shower, it ruins the curl patter. what i do is when i get out the shower my hair is still sopping wet, i scrunch out excess water then i scunch in a bit of leave in conditioner and gel then let it air dry.

the two things i would say is never towel dry your hair, just scrunch water out and never comb or brush it out of the shower, it ruins the curl patter. what i do is when i get out the shower my hair is still sopping wet, i scrunch out excess water then i scunch in a bit of leave in conditioner and gel then let it air dry.

Thats just the texture of their hair the only thing you can do to change the texture of your hair is with perming or relaxing the curl. Talk to a stylist I'm sure theres something they can do to loosen the curl in your hair without overly straightening it. Theres tons of treatments out there. Maybe a brazilian keratin treatment? Its made to smooth and strengthen hair. Wavy hair will be stick straight so I'm sure curly hair will be left with a nice pretty wave.

instead of combing use a brush and with a towel dont scrunch kind of just grab a lock of hair with the towel and pull down then when its damp let it air dry.
