    Hi Bob basically what karla has said is correct it means that theres 2 parts to the msg the reason for this is that some phones when they recieve a text can only handle upto 160 characters (i.e letters etc) so if its more than 160 characters then the message will be in 2 parts whereas some phones are capable of accepting messages of more than 160 characters so the message will come through as 1 ... hope this helps .. sly

Im not entirely sure. But I believe its when a text is sent from an area with a bad reception or signal, meaning that the text is difficult to send. You will get the text, but because of the bad reception it probably won`t send all the texts info and it will be unreadable.
