How come Canada has free health care and we don't?

Well, the people of Canada decided that it was important for all citizens to have basic health care. They have standards, and they they decided that this is the kind of country they want.

Answer is simple.. Canada is a 1st world country America is a third world country

Nothing is free. It's paid for by taxes. We don't want "free" health care here because we don't want to pay higher taxes for anything. What they have is universal coverage, where everyone has access regardless of their money situation. Here, you may get little or no health care determined on coverage or personal wealth.

Look at how much Canadians pay in taxes....... That's where the free health care comes from
