If you could name your baby ANYTHING (I mean, anything), what would it be? + BQ?

BQ - If your husband/partner (real or imaginary - I know a lot of us are underage) didn't like your favourite baby name; would you give it up?

  ♥Rudolph Alexander It's of Germanic origin and means 'Famous Wolf' or 'Wolf Fame'. It's beautiful, it's elegant, it's chic and it's sophisticated. Not to mention it's one of the few names I know of that will look absolutely adorable on a little boy ("Rudy") but also strong and highly masculine on a grown man. It's perfect to me. Absolutely perfect! It's a good, strong, handsome, aristocratic name; everything I want for a son. And, sure, it might get a bit annoying for a future son to have to put up with his mates singing 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer' at him every December all throughout his childhood but, I honestly don't think it'll be teased or ridiculed. I mean, I know a girl named Bertha at school and she has NEVER been teased, ever! Not everyone likes her name (and makes no secret of it) but nobody uses it against her, or her little sister - Fannie! Which leads me to believe that the 'kids getting teased for their names' issue has been entirely blown out of proportion. I think that it's used as a crutch oftentimes, something for people to fall back on when they've officially run out of negative things to say about a name, or have nothing else negative to offer. Well, guess what? My favourite baby name isn't made up, illiterate, babyish or gender-inappropriate - it's traditional. And, since it's so traditional, I KNOW that it won't stop a future son of mine from achieving his full potential in life, which is more than I can say for some (/all) of the tryndee names of today's society. BQ - Would I give it up? Well, while I would like to be the bigger person and automatically say "Yes, I would", my true answer is... No. I would try (for my husband's/boyfriend's/lover's sake), but I know that my heart wouldn't be in it. Because once I dedicate myself to something, that's it - I'm dedicated for life. There is no going back and that is proven by what decisions I've come to throughout my short life (I'm only 18), especially when concerning baby names. Rudolph Alexander is a name I fell in love with at the age of 10 and now, at 18, the love I feel for it has in no way diminished. If anything; it's grown stronger - which MUST mean that I'm meant to give it to a future son... whether or not my future husband/boyfriend/lover agrees. I know that sounds harsh but, it's the truth and I'm not going to lie. Besides, I likely won't settle for a partner considering I plan to adopt - and you only need one parent to do that. :3
