What's up with the sympathy card?

Is she playing the sympathy card or am i being a jerk!!?

• Sorry if my Q is a repeat, i feel other Qs dont meet my situation 100% this hot gal i met, i picked her up with a line and she gave me full attention. then i called her once to arrange to meet her again, second time we met n talked she loaded me with her family problems and how she is financialy broken down,(mind you we are on first name basis n we havent even gone out on a date) she tells these stories n watery eyes. ok fine i help her with taxi fare for two days. before we go any further she tells me she's on a break n she just came out of a relationship and she's done with the dude(but the pics of the dude and her are still on her facebook) that she doesnt wanna make me a rebound. we see each other a few more times, she asks me when are we going out on a date(excitedly) and asks where we going, i suggst a simple place and she doesnt like it. few days later calling each other she is now hinting for a nu cellphone, im reluctant doing anything for her so i gave her my old SE X1 not so much in perfect condition, she tries it out n she complains. i had promised to buy her, in the meantime she is now hinting for a nu jacket and wants to come with me if i go shopping. so we talked again and i told her i like her, but she said she doesnt wanna complicate things she likes what we have (hanging out outside her place and calling each other. i think she's tryna kick me into the friendship zone while she enjoys my money, and she doesnt wanna get intimate. im not desperate i just wish she could tell me if she doesnt see me that way nd i move on, this has gone on for a month now nd i feel wasting time. i cant just leave her coz of the "sorrowfull me" stories n tears. is she really in crisis or playing a sympathy card? im now a father instead of boyfriend. she says maybe later shell be ready for a relationship and we can get it on. the tricky part is the facebook statuses about me "i really mic him" "do you really love me" the last one after i asked her to be intimate. tell me what you think b4 i make a mistake.

  She is using you man. If she liked you she would not be hesitating. She likes your money. Ive been there. Cut off the money and see how long she sticks around. It wont be too long.
