Tip of the middle finger is numb and tingly?

Why do i have swelling and pain at the tip of my left middle finger?

• Today i noticed that i have some very intense swelling and pain in the tip of my middle left finger. It is more on the left side of the finger though and does,t go below the first joint. when i squeeze the left side some clear liquid comes out. I did not jam or bum it on anything and i don't play instruments either. All i do involving my fingers is type, and i work as a dish washer, but i think it's unrelated. There is some slight redness.

  Probably a infection. Dirty dishes and dirty water and dirty gloves is a breeding ground fior germs or it could be some reaction to a detergent. Maybe you have a tiny splinter under the skin that's causing infection. Put antiseptic on it regularly and cover it up with a waterproof plaster and if it isn't better or on the mend in two days then have a doctor look at it. Infections spread and can cause havoc if you let them get too deep.
