What leadership qualities did John F. Kennedy have?

• I am doing an essay in History, and I need some help here :) I do have some leadership qualities of JFK but, I don't know if they're sure.. :/ Could you guys help me and give me a few leadership qualities, and with those leadership qualities when did he use them and if possible, how did that particular quality help end discrimination? :D thanks guys!! :)

  He first displayed leadership during World War II. He commanded the crew of a PT boat and was decorated for his role in saving his men after the boat sank. Anyone in elected office is a leader. After John Kennedy's older brother, Joseph, Jr. was killed in WWII, the political hopes of the family turned to John. He was elected to the House in 1946. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1952. He ran as a vice-presidential candidate at the 1956 Democratic National Convention, but failed. He returned to the Senate and worked to correct the charges that were leveled against him in 1956. He changed his anti-farmer image, became more vocal in supporting immigration causes, labor, and civil rights reform. He entered the 1960 campaign and won primaries. Finally, John Kennedy exercised leadership as president in the programs he created, the Peace Corps, the space race to put a man on the moon by the end of the decade, White House restoration, the Alliance for Progress aimed specifically at Latin America, and the President's Council on Physical Fitness (created by Eisenhower but Kennedy made it a priority)
