Why does my ankle always pop out of place?

What's wrong with my left ankle?

  • So, for about 2 weeks now, my left ankle has been hurting when i walk on it. The pain is a stabbing pain in the front right part of my ankle, and its getting exceedingly worse so i'm basically hopping right now. Also, when i try to stretch it, it stabs me in the same place but it also feels like it needs to pop with A LOT of pain! I need help! It hurts so bad!

    you said it hurts on the "front right" but you didn't say which ankle it is so that will be important if you can update that. I'm going to assume its your right ankle for this answer. The most common ankle injury comes from over-inverting your ankle. What brought on your pain 2 weeks ago? Google search "inversion sprain" and let me know if that sounds similar with what happened to you. You can ice it if you still have swelling. If it is sprained, you should try walking on it, even if you aren't putting all of your weight through that foot.
