What would you change if you could travel through time?

Time travel could work, PLEASE READ (not really time travel, more scenario change)?

• We must first agree that there are infinite universes. The way time travel works is that someone disappears to the scenario of time that they want. I.E world war 2. The person would go to a universe where world war two is happening exactly as it was with us. The person could alter(you couldn't really say alter because it hasn't happened) the scenario and change the course of events. They wouldn't magically disappear since they never stopped themselves going back in time. Do you agree that could work? I did this just for fun by the way, i had this idea for ages and just wanted to see other people's opinions.

  There's a novel by Michael Crichton called 'Timeline' in which people go back to 14th century France by moving to parallel universes that are close to our own! What you're suggesting sounds similar to that. However, I would point out that traveling to another universe (if such things actually exist) seems just as improbable as traveling back in time in our own universe. If we're going to speculate then why not just speculate about time travel? ;)
