The pictures on my Blackberry Curve?

Blackberry curve won't add the pictures from my micro sd card?

I had a Samsung reality and have a micro SD card that I got from a friend and all my pictures are on it, but when I put it into my new blackberry it only added the videos, and I would way rather have the pictures. I tried to plug in my Samsung phone into my mac and copy the pictures then add them to my blackberry from there but it wouldn't even recognize my phone.. please help?? thank you
