Does this guy like me? How do I flirt?

So there's this guy from band that I sit next to and I think he likes me or at least thinks I'm cute or something. One time I caught him staring at me and when I looked at him he smiled. I of course just blushed in fear. The other day, we shared music and he sat back in his chair a lot of the time with his legs apart and his trumpet pointing toward me. One of the times we talked that day I asked him what he said cause I couldn't understand him and he just smiled and said "nothing." I think I'm interested in him (he seems really talented and smart and nice) but don't know how to flirt, is he at least semi interested in me? If so, how do you know and how do I flirt with him?

don't flirt! guys get shy..or feel kinda embarrassed when girls flirt. so, try to be friendly, just act normal try to help him and smile at him and just make each other happy. try to talk with him more..hope that boy sees ur effort
