How do I convince my mom to buy me a new game system?
-
For years my mom has bought my brothers and sisters new game systems from psp's to Nintendo's any game system you can think of she has bought for them but one it comes to me she only bought me one system and that was a nintendo dsi.It was the first game system she has ever bought for me and for years its been working fine while my brothers and sisters kept braking theirs and my mom kept buying new ones for them for the past years.Well my game system brakes and I asked her if she could buy me a new one but all she says is no or wait.I have waited two years for a new game system and I want a way to make her buy me one because I have nothing to play at my house because my sisters don't let me play with their games and one I ask I get no so is their anyway to convince her, Im not looking for a expense game system just something to play with one I come home from school and also what I don't get is, that she buys my sisters and brothers new games and systems that just come out but not me at all.I'm not trying to be a spoiled brat are anything but I find it unfair that they get new games and I only got one and it broke and she keeps buying them new ones but won't buy me any.

I know what you mean! I have had the same Ipod (still works) for 6 years now and my younger brother breaks and loses EVERYTHING and i mean EVERYTHING and I couldnt even get my mom to buy me a nice pair of boots for christmas. You can try just talking to her about it but in my experience nothing ever really worked. But at least she knows that you are the responsible one and I guess she just assumes that means you should find your own way to buy stuff.... she sees you as more of a grown up than your sibilings so she doesnt treat you like a child. You can look at that as a good thing or a bad thing.
..and we could conquer the world
